Current Event #1 U.S Ambassador Safe After Syria Attack

A pro-government mob of Syrians attacked the U.S Embassy in Syria recently.  Robert Ford, U.S Ambassador to Syria has often spoken out against the Syrian government.  He caused the contempt by the government for him to form when, in July, he traveled to the city of Hama and supported people protesting against their government.  Hilary Clinton recently called the incident "inexcusable" and that something like this never should have happened.  I personally believe that Ford could have prevented some of the negative tension surrounding him if he had not gone to Hama and openly supported the protesters.
