On Sunday February 26, 2012, the polls closed in Senegal's presidential election. This election has been accompanied by much protest against the current president, Abdoulaye Wade, who is running for reelection. Even though Senegal has one of Africa's most stable democracies, protestors say they are tired of Wade's diminishing leadership ability. I agree with the protestors opinion. Even though, Wade started out doing great things for the country, it is a sign that he needs to leave office when he is doing more bad than good for the country.
